Ionic Keratin Hair Treatment

Disclaimer: I was not paid to make this review.

In June 2015- Jan 2016. I colored my hair multiple times, like twice a month. So you can just imagine how dry my hair was, right? I had my hair undergo rebond treatment on December 2016. It was very straight but the ends are dry. I had good hair days when I use a generous amount of conditioner at the right period of time but on other days, they were dry and frizzy. I use ionic Keratin treatment after I learned that keratin treatment aids in dry and damaged hair.
Before I had my hair rebonded. It doesn't look that bad because it's still drying but check out next picture.

I use this at least once in two weeks. I use it after I shampoo and conditioner, I wrap my hair in a towel and while the hair is still damp, I put a generous amount of this product. I do not apply heat so I leave it on my hair for 40 minutes. I rinsed and voila!
I do get compliments about my hair everytime I use this. One of my friends even think that I had my hair rebonded again.
This is me having good hair day

It's very affordable. I got mine from Watson. Since 2017 started, I have not purchased a new tub yet. Will I repurchase? Definitely. The only thing that I did not like about it is that if you partner this with a product that causes hair fall, it worsen the hair fall. I know for a fact, I have weak hair so it's really sensitive. There will be some products that causes hair fall and when I use keratin treatment after this product, it makes the hair fall so much worse. Anyway, I stopped using the other product so Ionic Keratin Treatment really helped my damaged hair. I'll give it 3/5. It is odorless which I like. It did not help in making my hair shine, well shiny hair also depends on one's diet and other factors, but still. I recommend this for those who want to reborn their damaged hair.

Wicked

To start our celebration of Valentines week. MY boyfriend and I watched Wicked at the Theater in Solaire. I was really excited when I learned in December that 'Wicked' will be showing since I was not able to catch it in 2014.

Jacqueline Hughes and Carly Anderson play the two witches of Oz. In some performances, Jodie Steele plays Elphaba and the one that we saw was the one with Jodie Steele but the standing ovation that they got was still well deserved.

Wicked is a reimagining of the origin of some characters in 'Wizard of Oz'. Glinda became the 'Good Witch', while Elphaba became known as the 'Wicked Witch of the West'.

When I got in the theater, I was a little bit concerned on how small the stage was but it actually gave the audience a more intimate feel and appreciation of the settings, costume and choreography. I was also impressed with the audio in the Theater. You can hear it loud and clear without bein too much. At the beginning, I even thought it was a recording until I saw the conductor. The singing was also impressive, up until now, Defying Gravity still gives me the chills and goosebumps. If there was just one thing that I did not find perfect, it would be the choreography. There were on point but there were a couple of instances were in there was 0.5 sec delay of one dancer compared to another. It was barely noticeable, it's just the detailed-oriented me that noticed it.

It was a lovely performance, no matter who played Elphaba. :)

My Saturday lunch

So last Saturday, my bf and I went on a lunch date. We decided to go for Korean, it's been a while since we went to Bonchon. I am not really a fan of Bibimbap, I usually order the one with the shrimp on top of rice and sometimes chicken but this time I tried to spicy chicken Bibimbap and we both ordered Bingsu. I got the chocolate and he got the strawberry cheesecake flavor. For someone who loves and tolerates spicy food, I find the Bibimbap spicy flavor just right. As for the Bingsu, the chocolate flavor is not that sweet which was fine with me while strawberry cheesecake is not that sour. Don't get me wrong, I love strawberries but strawberry flavored foods tend to be on the sour side and I am not a fan of. I am not some foodie but this combo was satisfying.

Loss 1lb

Yeah, I lost 1lb this week! In the past 3 weeks, I've been losing a lb each week and it's getting harder. I decided to eat 2 meals, oatmeal and cereal a day though I stopped after 3 days. I ran a total of 10km and went on one boxing session. I decided to work harder this week and let's see how it goes.

30th birthday Ideas

This is something that I am not really very excited about because I'll be 30. I am old, I feel old, I feel like I have nothing to show for my life. Well, planning a party excites me so I focused on things that make me happy. I was researching on themes and ideas for a 30th bday party and this is what I came up with. It's a little cliche but whatever, it's pink and gold, sparkly and modern, MIMIcentric, flirty 30!!!

It all started 5 years ago...

If my memory serves me right, I started runnning in 2012. I ran with my then boyfriend on a 5km race. I ran for 55 minutes. Today, I ran after being such a loser (I haven't been following my workout schedule, that's why), I ran 5km for 54 minutes. That has never happened before after 2012. I know it's just a minute but the fact that it was so difficult for me to finish 5km in an hour and be able to do it in 54 mins is victory for me.
So, after my break-up with my then boyfriend, running gave me distraction and help me lose weight. Running has a lot of metaphors in life and can really help you get through some tough times. I joined races every 3 months for the next year, I ran 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes. I ate what I want without gaining weight until metabolism hit me hard and I am gaining weight, having difficult with my running until I just ran once or twice a week. In 2016, my boyfriend and I decided to run again. We tried to run for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week but we were not able to. We planned on joining a 10km run before the end of 2016 but again, not able to do it. So in 2017, I made a promise to go back to running. I'll run twice a week. Twice a week, I'll have boxing, once a week, I'll do yoga and once a week, I'll have to work with toning my body. So help me God, in 2017....
